CONNECT. UNITE. TRANSFORM!
The Junior League of Memphis welcomes all women to join us for our third annual community-focused, leadership conference—the Memphis Women’s Summit. The summit will span themes of professional, personal and community leadership to invigorate and empower us to elevate Memphis.
The one-day event includes: breakout sessions with local leaders, vendor booths focused on women’s issues and interests, a luncheon featuring a panel of top female leaders in Memphis discussing MLK50: Where do we go from here? and a keynote address from Erin Brockovich. The Memphis Women's Summit is the only event dedicated to developing and empowering women.
Presented by Junior League of Memphis

2018 Keynote Speaker:
Say the name Erin Brockovich and you think, strong, tough, stubborn and sexy. Erin is all that and definitely more. She is a modern-day “David” who loves a good brawl with today’s “Goliaths”. She thrives on being the voice for those who don’t know how to yell. She is a rebel. She is a fighter. She is a mother. She is a woman. She is you and me.
The Memphis Women’s Summit will feature local female visionaries and leaders who’ll share their expertise on a wide range of subjects — all focused on galvanizing women to elevate Memphis.

In partnership with the National Civil Rights Museum, our panel discussion will focus on MLK50: Where do we go from here? MLK50 is a year–long commemoration, hosted by The National Civil Rights Museum, to recognize the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Dr. King fought for humanitarian rights, not only for minorities, but for people all over the United States and throughout the world. MLK50 includes signature events and activities aimed at remembering Dr. King while motivating and activating change.
